Hemfosa has acquired three modern healthcare properties in Stenungsund Municipality, Uddevalla Municipality and Vänersborg at a total property value of approximately MSEK 108. The acquisitions are a good complement to the existing portfolio and strengthen the cooperation with Region Västra Götaland, one of Hemfosa’s major tenants.
In Stenungsund and Uddevalla, Hemfosa has acquired two healthcare centers with Region Västra Götaland as the largest tenant. The fully leased properties have a leasable area of 2,600 sqm and a remaining lease term of eight years. Annual rental income totals MSEK 5.7.
In Vänersborg, Hemfosa has acquired a special care unit that contains eight newly built apartments and premises for adult day services, with Vänersborg Municipality as a tenant. The properties have a leasable area of 1,600 sqm and a remaining lease term of ten years. Annual rental income totals MSEK 2.4.
Possession of all of the properties was taken in December 2018.
“Hemfosa will continue to grow with high-quality community service properties in all three of our Nordic markets, and we are active in both acquiring and developing new properties in partnership with community players. I am pleased that with these acquisitions, we are expanding our cooperation with Region Västra Götaland, which is already one of Hemfosa’s major tenants in Sweden,” says Caroline Arehult, CEO of Hemfosa.
