Samhällsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (publ) (“SBB”) has extended and signed two new leases with community service tenants in Lund and Simrishamn.
In the property Solrosen 9, SBB signs a new ten-year lease of 3,749 sqm with Simrishamn Municipality. The overall administrative management as well as individual and family care, support and development, LSS management and Social Psychiatry have moved into the property. The premises are newly renovated with a modern and functional floor plan to optimize the co-location of these businesses.
“The fact that there is a reception, a nice waiting room and meeting rooms that are adapted to each visit is extremely important. Our activities are for our visitors. In the new common reception, visitors can get answers to questions, leave a message to their manager, meet in a welcoming manner and sit down in a waiting room that is adapted and open. There are also visitor rooms and meeting rooms that are adapted for the safety of the employees.
Having a more cohesive social service where the administration and the administrative management sit together provides better conditions for systematic improvement based on the user’s/client’s focus,” says Jeanette Lindroth, Head of Social Services at Simrishamn Municipality.
In the property, Landsdomaren 7, in Lund, the existing tenant BMSL (Bilingual Montessori School of Lund) has expanded its operations to a total of 4,996 sqm and extended the agreement by ten years. The preschool will move into its newly renovated and energy-efficient premises prior to the autumn term commencing.
“We are happy and proud to help our community service tenants with tenant adaptations in our properties to give them the opportunity to in turn help the whole community,” says Ola Svensson, Regional Manager South, Samhällsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB.
