SSM Holding AB (publ), the leading property developer in the Stockholm region in its niche, is one of the winners in the Municipality of Täby’s land use competition for its new Täby Park area. SSM will develop and build 270 apartments, 180 of which will be rental units. The construction start is planned for 2018 with occupation during 2020.
SSM has been named one of the winners of the first land allocation competition for construction in the new Täby Park area.
Täby Park, which has an attractive location 400 m from the Galoppfältet light rail station, will have an exciting design where the architecture will vary with different building heights and materials including brick, wood and plaster. The area will also offer many common spaces for spontaneous socializing in everyday life. These will include everything from greenhouses and conservatories on rooftops to large terraces and squares with space for outdoor cafés. There are plans to build at least 6,000 apartments and between 4,000 and 5,000 workplaces.
The competition covered three blocks with a total of 450 homes and street-level commercial spaces. SSM was chosen to develop and build 270 of these homes, 180 of which will be rental units. The construction start is planned for 2018 with residents moving in during 2020.
