Morphic is today able to announce that Erik Göthlin has been appointed as the new CEO of the wind-turbine business, entailing responsibility for the subsidiary Dynawind and the recently acquired ScanWind.
Erik Göthlin has been appointed as the new CEO of Morphic’s subsidiary Dynawind. Erik comes from a position with responsibility for the international section of the American company Chromalox Inc, which manufactures electric heating equipment for industrial applications. Erik has been responsible for around 230 people and a business with a turnover of approx. SEK 250m in 2007. Before Chromalox Erik worked for six years at ABB in various key positions. He has a total of 15 years’ experience of international project work. Erik is a mechanical engineer and studied in Lund and Lausanne in Switzerland.
Anders Sjögren, the current CEO of Dynawind, is continuing with other assignments in the wind-turbine business.
“Erik has worked in five different countries, bringing important international experience to Morphic’s continued expansion in the field of wind energy,” says Jonas Eklind, Morphic Technologies AB’s CEO and group manager.
As communicated previously, Jan Johansson has also been appointed as the group’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Jan, who is starting at Morphic in June, comes from a position as CFO of the listed company Nobia.
The above-mentioned persons, including Cell Impact’s CEO Martin Valfridsson, Morphic Business Development’s CEO Mats Reimark and the IR manager Johannes Falk, report directly to the group manager Jonas Eklind, and they jointly constitute the group’s new management group.
