Today, SSM will start selling 109 space-efficient cooperative apartments with balconies or patios in the vibrant urban area of Roslags Näsby. The project, which is called Platform West, is planning for common spaces in the form of a rooftop terrace and a lush courtyard. The building will be certified as Silver according to the Sweden Green Building Council and will have a high green factor reflected in green roofs as well as sedum roofs with solar cells, climbing plants on the facade and waste disposal units in all homes. First occupancy is expected by the end of 2020.
At Täby’s best communication hub, at the junction of the Roslags Näsby light rail station, SSM is starting to sell 109 apartments in its Platform West project. In the future, Roslags Näsby will be linked with existing buildings in the area via a bridge, thus becoming a new green and lively neighborhood with an urban character. About 1,400 apartments are planned in the area together with commercial premises, a school, a new square and a park.
Platform West has a high green factor and consists of innovative five- to eight-story buildings with facades of plaster, brick and wood panels in varied colors as well as green roofs and sedum roofs with solar cells. The total floor area is 4,901 m² and the apartments range from one, two and four rooms plus kitchen units where the majority have their own balcony or patio. The floor area of the apartments varies from 26 to 84 m² with most between 26 and 50 m². Common spaces are planned in the form of a rooftop terrace and a lush courtyard. The floor plan of the project includes space for commercial premises overlooking the new square, which creates good conditions for outdoor dining. First occupancy is expected by the end of 2020.
