Samhällsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (publ) (”SBB”) creates in-house property management organisation. SBB will purchase all shares in the property management company Hestia Sambygg AB from the current owners.

Since SBB’s establishment, Hestia Sambygg AB has been responsible for the management of the Group’s property portfolio. Hestia Sambygg AB was founded and jointly owned by Ilija Batljan Invest AB and Investmentaktiebolaget Kybele. The acquisition will follow two steps: firstly SBB will acquire 49% of the shares in Hestia Sambygg AB from Ilija Batljan Invest AB for SEK 1, and secondly the company will acquire 51% of Hestia Sambygg AB’s shares in Kybele for SEK 20m plus compensation for already contracted financial managements including the second quarter of 2018.

“After rapid growth, SBB has succeeded in establishing a strong position, with focus on consolidation during 2018. We are now taking over a well-functioning property management organization, and building this competence and functions within the company. Together with the important recruitments of Lars Thagesson and Jonny Göthberg, this further supports our goal of becoming the largest player in the Nordic region focusing on community service properties.” comments Ilija Batljan, CEO and founder of the Samhällsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB.

Jonny Göthberg replaces Stefan Björkqvist in the role of head of property management in connection with the new in-house property management organization. Peter Olausson is head of residential and Karl-Erik Larsson is head of community service properties. Lars Thagesson, Deputy CEO and COO, has the overall responsibility for property management within the group management team.
