Samhällsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (publ) (“SBB”) announced on 21 July 2023 that SBB, through its newly established subsidiary SBB Residential Property AB, entered into an agreement with an investment fund managed by Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing (“MSREI”), pursuant to which SBB Residential Property AB will issue preference shares of SEK 2.36 billion to MSREI (the “Transaction”).
SBB today announces that the Transaction has been completed and that SBB has received SEK 2.36 billion in cash. SBB will use the proceeds to strengthen its liquidity and financial profile.
